Exhibition: A Temporary Measure
The Irish Museum of Contemporary Art (IMOCA) announces the opening reception of ‘A Temporary Measure,’ a solo show by Ivan Twohig, IMOCA‘s 2008 Graduate Resident, Friday, May 29th, 6 to 9 pm, at the Irish Distillers building at the Smithfield Luas stop.
This architectural installation represents the culmination of Ivan Twohig‘s year long studio residency at IMOCA and the museum‘s use of the site in Smithfield. The artist’s relationship to the space is filtered through a unique process of measurement, dissection, appropriation and creation. Show runs four weeks until Sunday, June 21.
